While travelling to some of Puerto Rico's many great beaches, or fabulous reastaurants you may notice dogs and cats living on the streets. There are a number of things you can do to help these beautiful creatures.

1. Call your airline to book a pet under 20lbs to fly at your feet
2. Call a vet to get vaccines and a travel certificate
3. Get a small pet carrier from Wal-Mart, Pet Smart, Me Salvé, etc.

Many rescue operations are already at work on the island of Puerto Rico. While we are staying there we are always donating our time and energy to help anyway we can. It is sometimes as easy as agreeing to walk some dogs from local shelters once or twice a week. Plus even a few dollars can go a long way with local rescue operations.
